Well, what a cracking night the November Social – CCM Factory Tour, Supper and Social turned out to be! Thanks to all 43 SLAMmers who braved the weather and the traffic and commiserations to those that could not make it and that tried and got flummoxed!
John Ccm Drogan Andy, Russel, Craig and Carter did a great job of showing us around with the history and future plans for
CCM Motorcycles
Emma, Andy and the Team at The Mill Coffee House were great hosts, and did a phenomenal pie and peas supper. They have extended a warm invitation to all SLAM Members if they are passing – definitely a great venue for another Social sometime!
Having the CCM bikes and Mason the Bloodbike present was brilliant, and lots of folks were trying on their choice of 600cc ‘bling’ and dreaming of dry sunny days I’m sure!
A scratch raffle was held raising funds for the North West Blood Bikes (Lancs & Lakes) Public Group and a fantastic £200 rattled their bucket, so well done to everyone for being so generous, and congrats to the winners!
Big thanks to my son Callum for being goffer and to Damian Fazackerley for the support!
